Help on using the Candidate2010 database

When logging in please using the following details:

username=guest
password=guest

After the database loads, you will see this screen.

This is the Constituency Search screen, which is the standard or quick search mode. Please select the constituency you are interested in from the drop-down menu and click 'go'.

A results screen similar to the one below will appear, listing the known candidates for your selected constituency, their parties and their EU viewpoint ranking. You can click on an individual candidate for more information. Clicking on the 'Return to Search Options' button returns you to the Constituency Search screen.

Selecting 'Other Search Options' opens the advanced search dialogue, shown below. Using this screen, you can search by a number of criteria, for example by party or for an individual candidate. You can also use the Status Bar (the column on the left) to control your search and view options. Clicking 'Search' generates the results of your search. Clicking 'Close Options' returns you to the Constituency Search screen.

The Candidate2010 database is build in Filemaker Pro. For further information on searching files using Filemaker Pro, please click on the help button in the status bar.
